Biography

Kirk Peter teaches interest theory and financial mathematics for the department of actuarial science, risk management and insurance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. He also teaches a review class for Exam FM, which is one of the five preliminary exams given by the Society of Actuaries.
Kirk is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and worked for 17 years at CUNA Mutual Insurance in Madison, WI prior to coming to the UW.
Kirk is also the director of the department’s Co-Curricular Learning Board, which is a comprised of a group of companies who have come together to bring unique outside of the classroom learning opportunities to our students.
