The most convenient airport is the Dane County Regional Airport (airport code: MSN), which is located on the east side of Madison at 4000 International Ln. It is approximately 15-20 minutes from the UW-Madison campus by taxi for around 20 dollars. No international flights fly into or out of this airport. - Fly to Milwaukee
General Mitchell International Airport (airport code: MKE) is the largest airport in Wisconsin. It is about 1.5 hours from the UW-Madison campus by car. Badger Coaches (http://www.badgerbusonline.com/ticketing/BasicSchedule.aspx ) offers five daily routes between Mitchell airport and the campus. - Fly to Chicago
O’Hare International Airport (airport code: ORD) in Chicago is the largest international airport in the region. One of the easiest ways to get to and from O’Hare is by Van Galder Bus Lines (http://www.coachusa.com/vangalder/). The buses run between the campus and ORD more than a dozen times per day; the trip takes approximately 3.5 hours. One-way ticket costs 27 dollars.
Chicago Midway airport (airport code MDW) is another airport near downtown Chicago. Van Galder Bus Lines operates between the campus and MDW 7 times a day; the trip takes approximately 4 hours.
