Scholarships
The Department of Accounting & Information Systems offers many scholarships annually to accounting students. Applications are due on-line to the Undergraduate Programs Office. Click here for an application.
Additional information is available at the Office of Student Financial Services.
Outside organizations also award scholarships directly to accounting students in addition to departmental awards. Separate applications directly to these organizations are required. Scholarships include PwC Minority Scholarship, National Society of Scholarships Foundations, and others listed below. American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants w/ Robert Half International/Accountemps offers scholarships to
two AICPA student affiliate members. Applicants must be undergraduate or
graduates pursuing studies in accounting, finance, or information systems.
The scholarship is $2,500 for one year. Application deadline is April 1. Applications are available on the AICPA web site at

AICPA John L. Carey Scholarships Program offers scholarships for liberal
arts students wishing to pursue graduate accounting study. Application
deadline is April 1. Applications are available at

National ALPFA Scholarship . Fifty (50) students from across the United States will be selected to receive scholarships, all of whom will be invited to attend the National ALPFA Conference in Scottsdale, AZ August 10 – 14, 2008, at no cost to them. Application deadline is March 15.
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) has scholarships to offer. Application deadline is April 18, 2008.
