Scholarships

The Department of Accounting & Information Systems offers many scholarships annually to accounting students.  Applications are due on-line to the Undergraduate Programs Office.  Click here for an application.

Outside organizations also award scholarships directly to accounting students in addition to departmental awards.   Separate applications directly to these organizations are required.

WICPA Minority Masters Application:  WICPA Minority Masters

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants w/ Robert Half International/Accountemps offers scholarships to two AICPA student affiliate members. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduates pursuing studies in accounting, finance, or information systems. The scholarship is $2,500 for one year. Application deadline is April 1. Applications are available on the AICPA web site.

AICPA John L. Carey Scholarships Program offers scholarships for liberal arts students wishing to pursue graduate accounting study. Application deadline is April 1. Applications are available at www.aicpa.org/members/div/career/edu/jlcs.htm

National ALPFA Scholarship Fifty (50) students from across the United States will be selected to receive scholarships, all of whom will be invited to attend the National ALPFA Conference in Scottsdale, AZ August 10 – 14, 2008, at no cost to them.  Application deadline is March 15

Additional scholarships are available through the National Society of Accountants at www.nsacct.org.  Review the NSA Scholarship Foundation tab for the application and awards information.   Applications must be received no later than March 10, 2009.
