Ann O'Brien has taught a wide variety of accounting undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses covering systems, financial, managerial, and health care accounting topics. She has served as Director and advisor for the Five Year Professional Program in Accounting and coordinates the internship course. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Wisconsin, Ann taught for six years at the University of Texas at Austin and five years at the University of Iowa. Also, she served as faculty advisor for Beta Alpha Psi. Ann served as the office manager for United States Senator Dick Clark and Senator Lloyd Bentsen in Washington D.C. She has performed audit, tax, consulting, and litigation support services and has provided management expertise to co-ops and non-profit organizations.
