The UW-Madison Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of the School of Business and the statewide Small Business Development Center network (13 centers in Wisconsin at each of the 4 year campuses). This network began in 1979 and is managed cooperatively by the University of Wisconsin-Extension and the individual UW System campuses. The mission of the Wisconsin Small Business Development System is "to enhance the success of Wisconsin's small businesses through management education."
